Muriel MATT est née en 1976 à Rennes et vit à Nantes. C’est sans doute parce qu’elle a tenu un pastel avant de savoir marcher qu’elle produit une œuvre aussi profondément inscrite dans l’univers de l’enfance.
Ce style fait de graphisme naîfs animés par une explosion de couleurs qui pousse à ses toutes dernières limites les capacités d’expression de l’acrylique, surprend par sa capacité à susciter des interprétations divers et changeantes.
